A fresh glow like a young leaf with morning dew. Introducing a new necklace using aquamarine in the Wakaba series.
A new necklace using aquamarine, the birthstone of the moon, has been added to the Wakaba series, which expresses the leaves of young grass that grows vigorously in the sunlight. A polishing technique called marquise cut is used to finish the coloured stones like leaves with transparent veins. And its brilliance is reminiscent of dripping drops from young leaves.
What is Marquis Cut?
A brilliant cut shaped like an elongated ship with curved sides and sharp tips. "Marquis" means the title of Marquis in French. For Wakaba, coloured stones are cut into 57 faces to create a leaf motif that is as lively as a vein.
Aquamarine that calms the mind
As the name suggests, aquamarine is a stone that represents "sea water."Since ancient times, this stone has been cherished by sailors as a talisman to calm the sea and protect the safety of voyages. It is also said to calm the mind as well as calm the sea.It will be like a talisman that calms the ripples in your heart and makes it easier to row a boat.We use unheated aquamarine mined in the area of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka.
