A shoulder bag that supports Moms and Moms-to-be. This makes the perfect gift.

This is a shoulder bag for pregnant women jointly developed by MOTHERHOUSE and the editorial department of "Nimps," which publishes a maternity magazine and website for pregnant working women. Because the bag is useful for a long time while raising children, it's also ideal as a gift from Dad.

*The strap thickness is now about 8 mm thicker than the model in the photo. It has been improved to soften the impact on the shoulder.

The Cocokara Project for pregnant women.

In the MOTHERHOUSE Cocokara Project, we aspire to manufacturing by responding to complaints and issues that, although they may be small, certainly exist, and which large factories cannot address. This project was born from our wish to propose a bag that could ease the inconveniences and many concerns faced during pregnancy, and also support your feelings as your partner and constant companion during your child-rearing days.

An outer pocket for the maternity badge, which you may want to hide in certain situations.

The maternity badge is an important symbol necessary to raise the awareness of people nearby. However, there are situations in which you may want to hide it. For those situations, we provide a pocket in which you can keep the badge, attached to the bag, hidden. This back is roomy enough to also hold a cellphone.

After your child is born, it's important that you can quickly access your cellphone so you don't miss the best moment for taking photos in your daily life!

Toss in a wet towel or tissues when you're on the go! Removable waterproof pocket.

When a child is born, you need wet tissues and small towels to wipe their little hands and mouths that get dirty when you're out, but what to do with them after use?

At those moments, just toss them in the special pocket! The bag comes with a pocket for storing wet items. It's made of waterproof material and is removable and washable. (Please dry well after washing by hand)

For walking during pregnancy and putting valuables in during child rearing.

People say that it is not good to carry heavy things while pregnant, but on the other hand, walking a lot is said to be good for an easy delivery. A compact and light shoulder bag is very handy for such outings during pregnancy.

After your child is born, a small shoulder bag to keep just your valuables with you is very handy when chasing after a young child who is always running around. We made sure it was the right size to hold a wallet, a cellphone, towels, keys, any pamphlets you receive while you're out, and so on.

Mom Bags have a popular image of a large capacity, but actually, this kind of sub-bag is essential; and it can be used for a long period of time.

*The strap thickness is now about 8 mm thicker than the model in the photo. It has been improved to soften the impact on the shoulder.

A round table discussion with nine pregnant women. To remain myself, to remain womanly, even if I become a mother!

In this project, we held a round table discussion with nine pregnant women, featuring a prototype made based on the opinions of the "Nimps" editorial department and Motherhouse.

Compliments about the sample bag...

"I definitely want to hide the maternity badge sometimes!" "I think it's good that the strap can be removed or put on and taken off." "It's great that it's light and soft." "It's cute that we can catch a glimpse of the lining." "This is an interesting proposal that differs from so-called Mom Bags"…

On the other hand, there were also suggestions for improvements...

"I'm afraid that a smartphone would pop out of the exterior pocket." "My mother-child notebook is rather large, so my wallet won't fit." "Isn't it a bit small to have as a main bag?" "It's a bit too casual for me." "Wouldn't it be better to have other materials as well as leather?"...

We had everyone write "something your husband said when you were pregnant that made you happy." They were all endearing and touching comments, but here is the one voted first place.

"Children eventually become independent, but we remain together. Let's keep our relationship good all the way." This was her husband's reply when one of the participants said 'Please don't just give all your attention to the child if the fetus turns out to be a girl.'

Voted second place was this comment, which was said to a baby still inside its mother: "This is my precious Chika-chan, so please don't kick too hard."

-Throughout the time they were writing, the room was filled with the very happy atmosphere of Moms-to-be.
