Minamo Leather is crafted using a unique pleating technique that creates a shimmering, water-like effect as it catches the light. After numerous trials, we perfected a meticulous method in which a single piece of leather is carefully folded by hand and dyed in two stages. This labor-intensive process combines the artisans’ precise craftsmanship with an element of chance, resulting in a rich, one-of-a-kind character in each piece.

Please note: Because the pleating and dyeing are done by hand, each item may vary slightly in appearance.
