The world of Moomin brightens your everyday life. A large-capacity long wallet made from gradient leather.
Nyoronyoro Round Long Wallet
A large-capacity round long wallet has been released as a collaboration item between "Moomin" and MOTHERHOUSE. The figure of Hattifattener, swaying back and forth as he continues his endless journey, is expressed using the inlay technique, which combines small leather parts. Together with the gradation leather that evokes Moomin Valley surrounded by lush nature, this leather accessory gives a deep feel for the world of Moomin.
Characters brought to life with inlay work, seeming as if they could move at any moment.

Adorable characters are expressed through zōgan, a traditional inlay technique in which finely cut leather pieces are carefully assembled together. Each delicate component, created from original custom-made cutting dies, is meticulously crafted and assembled by skilled artisans. The characters’ facial expressions are subtly rendered with foil stamping, bringing them gently to life.
The background features gradient leather reminiscent of Moominvalley, surrounded by abundant nature, further enhancing and highlighting each character.
Every time you open it, a heartfelt message accompanies you—embossed designs brighten the interior.
Inside, each piece is stamped with both the Moomin and brand logos, along with words from the characters that resonate with the heart:
"They are very silent and interested only in travelling onwards, as far as possible."
– From Comet in Moominland: “Nyoro-Nyoro are very quiet, never quarrel, and simply wish to travel as far as possible.”
Through these timeless words by Tove Jansson, you can feel the gentle warmth of the Moomin world in everyday moments.

Attention:
・This product is made by combining small leather parts, so strong bending or rubbing may cause the leather to peel off strongly. Please be careful not to bend the motif part or rub the surface strongly.
・Due to the nature of the material, this product has a delicate very finish, so if it comes into contact with water or other liquids, it will stain. We recommend that you use a waterproof spray on it regularly. If water or other liquid gets on it, wipe it off immediately with a dry cloth.
・Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or strong light may cause the leather to fade or discolor. Please be careful not to leave the product next to a window or in a car.

Inspired by the sight of the Hattifatteners gently swaying as they continue their endless journey, the gradient leather is arranged diagonally to evoke the whimsical and slightly mysterious world of the story.

The characters’ adorable forms are brought to life using zōgan, a traditional inlay technique in which leather pieces are carefully assembled.

The Moomin and brand logos are engraved, and words from the characters are also stamped inside the coin pocket. We hope these small details let you feel the warmth of the Moomin world in everyday moments.

Our philosophy
Showcasing the potential of developing countries
Motherhouse began in Japan with a simple belief: true beauty starts where things are made.
In 2006, founder Eriko Yamaguchi set out from Bangladesh to build a world-class brand that uplifts people and materials at their source. The idea was simple, to design with respect, create with care and connect people through products made to last.
